Pedego Electric Bike

Our standard Pedego e-bike is perfect for most riders looking to explore Hilton Head’s scenic bike paths with ease. These bikes offer pedal-assist and throttle modes, a comfortable upright riding position, and smooth, reliable performance—ideal for casual cruising, sightseeing, or covering longer distances without the extra effort.

Typical models include the Pedego Interceptor and Pedego Boomerang, both known for their comfort and user-friendly design. While specific models may vary based on availability, all Pedego rentals offer the same high-quality ride and performance.

Pedego Stretch (Cargo E-Bike)

The Pedego Stretch is a versatile cargo e-bike that offers extra stability and carrying capacity. Ideal for larger riders or those who want to bring along or beach gear, this model features an extended frame and a rear rack that can accommodate additional weight. We currently have 1 stretch and 2 tandems in stock. Tandem pedegos have two seats for two riders, whereas Stretch pedegos have one adult seat and a small platform on the back for an older child/smaller adult to sit on.

Will my Pedego come with a battery charger?

Pedego batteries typically last up to 3 days. Depending on the length of your rental we will supply a battery charger.

How fast will a Pedego drive?

Our pedegos can reach speeds up to 15-18mph

Do I need previous experience?

Not at all! Pedego e-bikes are beginner-friendly and easy to ride. Each rental includes a short orientation to help you get comfortable with the controls before heading out.

Where can I ride the e-bike?

Palmetto Bluff offers miles of flat, shaded bike paths perfect for exploring by e-bike. Ride through nature preserves, along the riverfront, or cruise into Wilson Village for shops and dining. If you’re heading to another Hilton Head location, there are dozens of paved multi-use paths across the island for scenic, car-free riding.

Do I need to wear a helmet?

Yes, helmets are required for all riders and are provided with your rental.

Can I carry a child or extra gear?

Yes—if you choose the Pedego Stretch, it’s designed to carry extra cargo or even a small child with the appropriate setup. Weight limits apply.

Cancellation Policy

We accept cancellations up to 48 hours in advance of the scheduled time of your tour or program.

Any cancellation made after that deadline will result in a charge for the full amount of the reservation.
