Will my Pedego come with a battery charger?
Pedego batteries typically last up to 3 days. Depending on the length of your rental we will supply a battery charger.
How fast will a Pedego drive?
Our pedegos can reach speeds up to 15-18mph
Do I need previous experience?
If you know how to ride a bike, you can ride an e-bike. Pedego e-bikes are beginner-friendly and easy to ride. Each rental includes a short orientation to help you get comfortable with the controls before heading out.
Where can I ride the e-bike?
Palmetto Bluff offers miles of flat, shaded bike paths perfect for exploring by e-bike. Ride through nature preserves, along the riverfront, or cruise into Wilson Village for shops and dining. If you’re heading to another Hilton Head location, there are dozens of paved multi-use paths across the island for scenic, car-free riding.
Do I need to wear a helmet?
Yes, helmets are required for all riders and are provided with your rental.
Can I carry a child or extra gear?
Yes—if you choose the Pedego Stretch, it’s designed to carry extra cargo or even a small child with the appropriate setup. Weight limits apply.
