Description

Half Day E-Bike Rental in Silverthorne, CO

These e-bikes give you a few hours to cover some serious ground through Summit County's high country with a battery doing part of the work. Choose between a rugged, fat-tire Aventon Aventure 3 built for mixed terrain, or the lighter Level 3 model if you'd rather stick to smoother paved paths.

Summit County's paved recreation path system connects Silverthorne to Dillon, Frisco, Keystone, and Breckenridge along the Blue River and Tenmile Creek, so a three-hour window is enough time to pick a direction and just ride, with the Gore Range and Tenmile Range in view along the way.

FAQs

Do I need to book in advance?

Booking in advance is highly recommended, especially on weekends and during peak summer months, to guarantee availability.

Which e-bike should I choose?

The Aventon Aventure 3 is a fat-tire bike built for mixed terrain, while the Level 3 model is lighter and better suited to smoother paved paths — both are available to select at checkout.

Is 3 hours enough time?

It's enough for a solid ride on the local paved paths; if you think you'll want more time, consider the full-day rental instead.

Where do you recommend riding?

The Summit County Recpath system runs right through this part of the valley, connecting Silverthorne, Dillon, and Frisco along paved paths that circle Dillon Reservoir. The full loop around the reservoir is about 18 miles, and one of the most popular stretches is the roughly 6.5-mile section between the Frisco and Dillon marinas, which rolls through gentle terrain before opening up to reservoir views for the last few miles. From Silverthorne, the Blue River Trail connects downtown to the Dillon Dam, tying into the wider recpath system toward Dillon, Frisco, and beyond. Sapphire Point Overlook, with views of the reservoir framed by the Gore and Tenmile ranges, is a popular stop along the way, though reaching it involves a steady climb. Trail conditions and closures can change season to season, so it's worth checking current Recpath conditions before planning a full loop.
