Description
Half-Day Colorado Snowshoeing Tour - Summit County
Experience the peaceful beauty of Colorado’s winter landscape on a half-day snowshoeing tour. Starting from Silverthorne, these guided outings explore some of Summit County’s most scenic terrain, from snow-dusted meadows to quiet forest trails. The pace is relaxed and conversational, allowing you to take in the mountain views, stop for photos, and enjoy the calm of the backcountry at your own rhythm.
Your guide will tailor the route based on your preferences and the day’s snow conditions, ensuring a safe and enjoyable outing for everyone in your group. Whether you’d like an easy walk through a mountain meadow or a more active climb for sweeping vistas, the experience can be as gentle or as energizing as you’d like. Snowshoeing is easy to learn and suitable for all ages, making it a great winter adventure for families, couples, or small groups.
Most half-day snowshoe tours are private, giving you the flexibility to set your own pace and enjoy the trail with your group alone. On Tuesdays, a shared group option is available—a fun way for solo travelers or those on a budget to meet new people while exploring Colorado’s backcountry in winter
