Guided E-Bike Tour of Kane Creek Petroglyphs

Join us on a 2-hour E-bike adventure down beautiful Kane Creek to explore the famous petroglyphs! Located on the Colorado River, Kane Creek Road is off the beaten path enough to be a bit quieter than the main Moab attractions. Kane Creek boasts a bounty of petroglyphs, and your experienced guides will share their knowledge and history of the area. 

This trip starts with a ride to Kane Creek, where we'll ride into the Colorado River canyon and make stops at some of the well-known petroglyphs, such as Moonflower Canyon, a lush desert oasis with ancient art carved into the surface of a large rock panel at the mouth of the canyon. We'll also visit the Birthing Panel, a large Native American birthing scene carved into a giant boulder. Your experienced guides will share stories and discuss the similarities and possible meanings of some of the glyphs.

We are on the south side of Moab on the west side of the Highway 3 building down from 400 East.

You should be comfortable riding a bike, but this adventure is appropriate for novice cyclists and is beginner-friendly. 

This tour can accommodate between 2 and 12 guests. 

The maximum rider weight is 400 lbs.

This trip is about 1/2 pavement and 1/2 fairly maintained dirt road.

The Kane Creek Petroglyphs are estimated to be from three different periods: Anasazi (AD 1 to AD 1275), Fremont (AD 450 to AD 1250), and Ute (AD 1200s to AD 1880).

There are no restrooms along the trail, so you'll want to be sure to use the restroom before departing.

If we need to cancel a tour due to bad weather, we'll offer you the option to reschedule for another day or receive a full refund if you are unavailable. However, please note that we do not cancel tours based on forecasts alone, as Moab weather can be unpredictable and often doesn't align with the forecast.
