Private Guided Backcountry Splitboarding Tour Colorado - Summit County

Escape the resort crowds and experience Colorado’s backcountry like never before on a private guided splitboarding tour. Explore pristine powder, tree runs, open meadows, and alpine ridgelines while your professional guide selects the best terrain and evaluates avalanche risk. Whether you’re chasing first tracks, cruising a mellow powder stash, or challenging a high-elevation ridge line, each tour is tailored to your group’s experience and goals.

No prior backcountry experience is required—if you can ride advanced blue or black terrain at a ski resort, you can enjoy the backcountry. Guides provide hands-on instruction in uphill and downhill splitboarding techniques, backcountry safety, and decision-making in winter terrain. Tours are private, full-day experiences, designed to match your preferred pace and skill level while giving you a safe, educational, and unforgettable adventure.

Backcountry splitboarding with is a chance to extend your ski season, discover hidden terrain, and experience the quiet solitude of Colorado’s high country. Rentals for splitboards, skins, and avalanche safety gear are available at our Silverthorne, CO basecamp, so you can focus on the ride and the adventure rather than logistics.
