Description

Full-Suspension Mountain Bike Rental in Colorado Springs

Colorado Springs keeps a remarkable amount of singletrack inside the city, and a full-suspension mountain bike is the way to ride it. Spend a morning in Ute Valley Park, loop Palmer Park, climb into Red Rock Canyon, or head for North Cheyenne Canyon, with Pikes Peak on the skyline the whole way.

Your bike comes from the oldest independently owned bike shop in Colorado Springs, a full-service shop that has been putting local riders on bikes since 1971. It rolls out with a helmet, a water bottle cage, a pump, a tire repair kit, and flat or SPD mountain pedals, so the setup feels like your own.

Keep it for a single day or a full week. A rental day runs 24 hours, which leaves room for an evening lap and a sunrise ride on the same booking. Haul the bike yourself, add a car rack or tailgate pad for an extra fee, or have it delivered within city limits.

FAQs

What kind of mountain bike will I be riding?

A full-suspension mountain bike from our rental fleet, set up with your choice of flat or mountain SPD pedals.

Our recommended mountain bike routes are Ute Valley Park, the Palmer Park Shop Loop, Red Rock Canyon, and North Cheyenne Canyon. You're free to take the bike to other trails that are open to bikes.

Can I use my own pedals or clip in?

We'll fit your bike with flat pedals or mountain SPD pedals, whichever you prefer. If you ride SPD, bring your own shoes and cleats.

How long can I keep the mountain bike?

Anywhere from 1 to 7 days. Choose your rental length from the links in the Duration section.

What comes with every bike rental?

Every rental includes a helmet, a water bottle cage, a pump, a tire repair kit, and your choice of pedals (flats or mountain SPD).

What do I need to bring to pick up my rental?

A valid ID and a credit card are required for all rentals.

Can I rent a bike for multiple days?

Yes. You can book anywhere from 1 to 7 days. A full rental day is 24 hours, so a bike picked up mid-morning is due back at the same time the next day.

What are your pickup and return hours?

Our shop is open Monday to Saturday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and closed on Sunday. All pickups and returns happen during those hours.

Yes, but you'll need to pick your bike up on Saturday before 5:00 pm. We can't do any pickups or drop-offs on Sunday because the shop is closed.

How does a weekend rental work?

If your bike leaves the shop after 2:00 pm on Saturday and comes back by 10:00 am on Monday, it counts as a 1-day rental. If it leaves between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm on Saturday and comes back by 10:00 am on Monday, it counts as a 2-day rental.

What accessories are available to rent?

We rent car racks, tailgate pads, and bike locks for an extra fee.

Can I transport the bike myself?

Yes. You're welcome to take your rental to the trailhead of your choice. If your vehicle isn't set up to carry a bike, we rent car racks and tailgate pads for an extra fee.

Do you deliver rental bikes?

Yes. We offer delivery and pickup of bikes within Colorado Springs city limits for an extra fee, charged per direction. Delivery and pickup are not available on Sundays.

Where do you recommend riding?

For mountain biking, our go-to routes are Ute Valley Park, the Palmer Park Shop Loop, Red Rock Canyon, and North Cheyenne Canyon. For gravel and urban riding, we like the Garden of the Gods Loop, the Monument Creek Ride, and the ride to Palmer Lake and back.

Are rentals available year-round?

No. Our rental fleet is seasonal: it takes a break over the winter and returns in spring.

How long have you been in business?

Our shop opened in 1971 and is the oldest independently owned bike shop in Colorado Springs. We're a full-service shop, and our service team works on all bicycle makes and models.
