Description
About
Join us for a truly unique, natural experience! Spend quality time relaxing on the water with family, friends or treat your date to a romantic paddle under the Sturgeon Full Moon.
The Full Moon in August is called Sturgeon Moon because of the great number of this huge freshwater fish that could once be found in lakes and rivers in North America. Other names for this Full Moon include Grain Moon, Green Corn Moon, Fruit Moon, and Barley Moon, all inspired by various crops that can be harvested in August.
We'll launch at dusk and then capture the Milwaukee River's magic at night. Choose between a single kayak or tandem kayak to explore the river by moon light. Spots fill up quickly so make sure to reserve your kayak in advance.
