Heading out on the Texas City Levee and need a complete kiteboarding setup? Houston Kiteboarding rents a full kit including kite, board, bar and lines, kite leash, harness, and spreader bar - all current-year equipment in good working order from the top brands in the sport. Gear exchanges for size are available on site.
The Texas City Levee offers over 2 square miles of waist-deep water with consistent Gulf winds, making it one of the best kiteboarding locations in Texas. The Levee is free to ride Monday through Thursday and all winter long; a $10 per car fee applies on weekends from February through September for non-Texas City residents.
