Description

Full-Day Rogue River Whitewater Rafting Trip – Nugget Run + Inflatable Kayak Adventure

Experience the Rogue River like never before on this action-packed full-day adventure! You'll kick things off with the same thrilling 7-mile stretch featured on our popular half-day trip—complete with fun, splashy rapids and two exciting Class IV drops: Nugget Falls and Powerhouse (Ti’lomhik Falls). After navigating these iconic rapids, we’ll pause for a riverside deli-style lunch with plenty of time to relax and soak up the views, before we swap the rafts for inflatable kayaks!

Whether it’s your first time in a raft or you’ve paddled plenty, the Nugget Run offers a progressive build of thrills. You'll warm up with friendly Class I and II rapids like "Ol' Slippery Rock," "The Surf Wave," and "Bitterman Falls," gaining confidence before taking on the river’s big challenges. Your guides are experts at pointing out local wildlife along the way—you might spot osprey, turtles, otters, deer, or even a black bear.

Midway through the Nugget Run, we'll meet our first class IV challenge, "Nugget Falls", then a short calm section, followed by Powerhouse Rapid, where you’ll feel the full force of the Rogue’s wild side—followed by high fives and big smiles all around.

About a mile downstream of Powerhouse, we'll stop for a deli-style lunch to fuel up for the second half of the day. Once refueled, you’ll take on the second half of the day’s adventure, hopping into your own inflatable kayak. We provide a hands-on tutorial during lunch so you’re ready to take the reins. This 6-mile downstream section features Class I and II rapids, perfect for beginners looking to test their skills in calm-but-fun waters.

Throughout the day, our expert guides will help you build confidence, share stories about the river’s natural and cultural history, and point out local wildlife. Whether you're chasing big splashes or a full-day immersion in Southern Oregon’s scenic beauty, this trip has something for everyone. It’s an unforgettable way to experience the Rogue!
