Description
Full-Day Napa Valley E-Bike Tour with Bouchon Bakery Lunch
This is the tour that Napa Valley visitors consistently call the best day of their entire trip. The Full-Day E-Bike Tour from Napa Valley Bike Tours covers 12 to 17 miles of valley floor on quiet roads and the car-free Vine Trail, stopping at two local wineries for tastings and breaking for a gourmet picnic lunch catered by Bouchon Bakery at a winery overlooking the vineyards.
Your guide is a local who knows the valley well — its history, its wine families, its hidden corners, and the smaller off-the-beaten-path producers that most visitors never find. The electric bikes make the distance and terrain effortless, with four levels of pedal-assist to dial in exactly the experience you want. By end of day you will have covered more of Napa Valley than most visitors see in an entire weekend, on two wheels, with new friends and bottles of wine to take home.
Duration
6 hours (9:30am to 3:30pm).

FAQs
What wineries will we visit on the full-day tour?
The route and winery visits change daily to keep the experience fresh. Your guide selects smaller, off-the-beaten-path wineries that regular visitors often miss, alongside iconic estates. Past favorites include stops near Opus One, Groth, and Silver Oak from the Yountville shop.
What is included in the picnic lunch?
Lunch is catered by Bouchon Bakery in Yountville and served at a winery. Expect seasonal selections such as Parisian-style ham and cheese, tuna nicoise, and turkey pesto on artisan bread, plus Kettle Chips and a petite dessert.
Can you accommodate dietary restrctions?
Definitely! Bouchon Bakery's seasonal menu always includes a vegetarian option that can be modified for vegans. A gluten-free salad option is available and includes a gluten-free dessert. If you have more specific needs, please reach out to us.
How far do we ride on the full-day tour?
Expect 12 to 17 miles total, averaging 3 to 6 miles between stops. The route is mostly flat to gently rolling. E-bike assist makes longer distances effortless for most riders.
Do I need previous e-biking experinece?
No. The flat terrain and e-bike pedal-assist make this accessible to most fitness levels. No e-biking experience required.
Why aren't tasting fees included?
Wine tasting fees are not included in the price of the bike tour because the wineries we visit vary daily and also, your fees may be waived when you make a minimum purchase or join a wine club.
What roads will we ride on?
The route uses a mix of quieter country roads and busier roadways, including some stretches along Hwy. 29 and Silverado Trail where a Class II bike lane is present. The group also frequently rides along the Napa Valley Vine Trail, a car-free bike path. Your guide will navigate all road crossings and transitions.
