While swimming ability is ideal, it is not strictly required for this kind of activity. With our provided safety equipment and the assistance of our professional instructor, we can help you gain confidence in paddling.
Is there a fitness requirement for this?
This activity is generally suitable for persons of all fitness levels. This is a beginner-friendly activity. As long as you feel comfortable in the water, you're set to go!
What if the weather is bad?
If the weather will make a program unsafe or not enjoyable (heavy rain or very high winds) we may decide not to go. The weather in the South Carolina Lowcountry changes often. We usually make decisions about possible inclement weather one hour prior to the scheduled departure time.
How far in advance do I need to make a reservation?
All of our programs have limited availability. Reservations should be made as soon as you are certain of the program and dates you are interested in. Reservations are accepted up to 12 months in advance.
