Description

Door County Sunset Kayak Tour – Eagle Harbor, Peninsula State Park

There’s no better way to wind down a Door County day than watching the sun slip toward the horizon from a kayak. This guided sunset tour departs from the village of Ephraim and follows the calm waters along Peninsula State Park, where limestone bluffs, wooded shoreline, and quiet bays take on warm evening light.
As the day cools and boat traffic fades, you’ll paddle at an easy, unhurried pace, with time to soak in the changing colors reflected on the water. Your guide leads the way, pointing out landmarks along the park’s shoreline and choosing a route that makes the most of the conditions and the light. It’s a relaxed paddle designed for enjoyment rather than distance, making it perfect for first-time kayakers and experienced paddlers alike.
Whether you’re ending a full day of exploring or simply looking for a peaceful evening on the water, the Sunset Kayak Tour offers a memorable perspective on Peninsula State Park. Quiet, scenic, and beautifully timed, it’s a simple and fitting way to experience Ephraim at its best.

FAQs

What kind of kayaks are we going to paddle?

Our guests normally paddle in sit-on-top tandem kayaks. The exception is when a group has an odd number of people. Groups with odd numbers will have to decide amongst themselves which guest will be paddling in a single sit-on-top.

How much experience do I need?

NONE! Our goal is to get everybody capable out on the water and showcase some of Door County’s beauty.

Can I bring my own kayak?

Absolutely! If you have a kayak and would like to join us with your equipment, you are more than welcome.

Cancellation Policy

Full refunds will be given for cancellation at least 24 hours prior to departure or due to inclement weather. Cancellations within 24 hours of scheduled tour time will be not be refunded.
