Description

Door County Cave Point E-Bike Tour

Explore some of Door County’s most striking shoreline on this guided electric bike tour through Cave Point County Park, Whitefish Dunes, and the Clark Lake area. Led by a knowledgeable local guide, this two-hour ride is designed to give you a deeper look at the landscapes that make this stretch of the peninsula so distinctive—without the rush or guesswork of navigating on your own.
You’ll ride along rocky limestone cliffs, past quiet forested sections, and near wide sandy dunes, with frequent stops for photos, short walks, and context about the area’s natural history. The pedal-assist Rad Power e-bikes make the route approachable for a wide range of riders, allowing you to cover more ground comfortably while still enjoying the ride.
Tours depart from our Jacksonport shop and follow a thoughtfully planned route that highlights the best scenery in the area. No prior e-bike experience is required—your guide will get you oriented before setting out.

FAQs

What kind of electric bike will I be riding on the tour?

We use Rad Power E -Bikes which fit riders from 4'11" - 6'2" with a maximum weight capacity of 300 lbs. A member of our staff will guide you through the steps on how to use your electric bike. E- bike rentals are great for the whole family, no experience necessary!

What are e-bikes?

E - bike stands for electric bicycle. They ride just like normal fat tire bicycles except the have an electric pedal assist motor. That means there is a motor that will make maintaining higher speeds while riding significantly more feasible than a traditional bicycle.

How long is the battery life of the e-bikes?

The amount of life you get out of your battery depends on hard you push it while riding. If you keep the pedal assist low (1 on a scale of 1 to 4) then you can get up to 45 miles per charge. If you keep it high (4 on a scale of 1 to 4) then the expected range is closer to 35 miles per charge.

How fast do we go?

You should only go at a speed with which you are comfortable. With the pedal assist fully engaged the E -Bikes can maintain a speed of roughly 20 mph.

Do I need experience before getting on a E-Bike?

As long as you can ride a regular bike, you can ride an e-bike! No prior e-biking experience is required.
