Description

Comfort E-Bike Rental in Colorado Springs

Not every ride in Colorado Springs calls for knobby tires and body armor. A comfort e-bike is built for the easygoing kind of day: an unhurried spin around the Garden of the Gods Loop, a cruise along Monument Creek, or a longer outing to Palmer Lake and back, with pedal assist smoothing out the hills and the headwinds.

Your bike comes from the oldest independently owned bike shop in Colorado Springs, a full-service shop that opened in 1971. A helmet, a water bottle cage, a pump, and a tire repair kit come with it, and the team's list of favorite gravel and urban routes gives you a place to start.

Take it for a day or keep it all week. A rental day is a full 24 hours, so an afternoon pickup still leaves you the next morning to ride. Pick the bike up at the shop, add a car rack for an extra fee if you want to drive to your starting point, or have it delivered within city limits.

FAQs

What kind of e-bike will I be riding?

A comfort e-bike from our rental fleet, made for relaxed riding around town and on our gravel and urban routes.

Where can I ride a comfort e-bike in Colorado Springs?

Our recommended gravel and urban routes are the Garden of the Gods Loop, the Monument Creek Ride, and the ride to Palmer Lake and back. E-bike access on city trails depends on the trail and the class of e-bike: since July 1, 2025, the City of Colorado Springs has been phasing in Class 1 e-bikes on select urban, regional, and open space trails, while Class 2 and Class 3 e-bikes remain prohibited on city trails. Check the signage at trailheads, and ask us at pickup if you're unsure about a route.

What pedals come on the comfort e-bike?

All of our rentals come with your choice of flat or mountain SPD pedals. Most comfort e-bike riders go with flats, which work with any closed-toe shoe.

How long can I keep the comfort e-bike?

Anywhere from 1 to 7 days. Choose your rental length from the links in the Duration section.

What comes with every bike rental?

Every rental includes a helmet, a water bottle cage, a pump, a tire repair kit, and your choice of pedals (flats or mountain SPD).

What do I need to bring to pick up my rental?

A valid ID and a credit card are required for all rentals.

Can I rent a bike for multiple days?

Yes. You can book anywhere from 1 to 7 days. A full rental day is 24 hours, so a bike picked up mid-morning is due back at the same time the next day.

What are your pickup and return hours?

Our shop is open Monday to Saturday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and closed on Sunday. All pickups and returns happen during those hours.

Can I ride on a Sunday?

Yes, but you'll need to pick your bike up on Saturday before 5:00 pm. We can't do any pickups or drop-offs on Sunday because the shop is closed.

How does a weekend rental work?

If your bike leaves the shop after 2:00 pm on Saturday and comes back by 10:00 am on Monday, it counts as a 1-day rental. If it leaves between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm on Saturday and comes back by 10:00 am on Monday, it counts as a 2-day rental.

What accessories are available to rent?

We rent car racks, tailgate pads, and bike locks for an extra fee.

Can I transport the bike myself?

Yes. You're welcome to take your rental to the trailhead of your choice. If your vehicle isn't set up to carry a bike, we rent car racks and tailgate pads for an extra fee.

Do you deliver rental bikes?

Yes. We offer delivery and pickup of bikes within Colorado Springs city limits for an extra fee, charged per direction. Delivery and pickup are not available on Sundays.

Where do you recommend riding?

For mountain biking, our go-to routes are Ute Valley Park, the Palmer Park Shop Loop, Red Rock Canyon, and North Cheyenne Canyon. For gravel and urban riding, we like the Garden of the Gods Loop, the Monument Creek Ride, and the ride to Palmer Lake and back.

Are rentals available year-round?

No. Our rental fleet is seasonal: it takes a break over the winter and returns in spring.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Extreme weather is an exception to our cancellation fee. That means large amounts of rain or snow that make riding dangerous and could cause trail damage.

How long have you been in business?

Our shop opened in 1971 and is the oldest independently owned bike shop in Colorado Springs. We're a full-service shop, and our service team works on all bicycle makes and models.

Cancellation Policy

Reservations canceled with more than 48 hours' notice do not incur a cancellation fee. Reservations canceled with less than 48 hours' notice incur a 25% cancellation fee. Extreme weather is an exception: large amounts of rain or snow that make riding dangerous and could cause trail damage. It is the renter's responsibility to ensure rental dates are correct. No refunds are given for missed reservations.
