Description

Electric Bike Tour of Colorado National Monument's Rim Rock Drive – Grand Junction, CO

Set out from the Grand Junction entrance of Colorado National Monument on an e-bike and climb into a landscape of towering red rock canyons and sheer sandstone cliffs along historic Rim Rock Drive. The road winds along the rim of the canyon with the Grand Valley spreading out below, and your guide leads the way to standout viewpoints like Red Canyon Overlook and Balanced Rock, sharing the geology and history behind the formations as you go.

With the e-bike doing the work on the climbs, there's more time to take in the scenery — keep an eye out for desert bighorn sheep on the canyon walls and golden eagles riding the thermals overhead. It's a way to cover real distance through one of Colorado's most striking landscapes without needing to be in peak cycling shape to enjoy every mile of it.
