Description

Cliffs & Canyons™ Guided Adventure – Private Guided Canyon Hike in Zion National Park Area

Zion National Park drew nearly five million visitors in 2024, and most of them end up on the same trails, waiting for the same shuttles, at the same viewpoints. The Cliffs & Canyons™ tour offers a genuine alternative — a guided adventure just outside the park boundary where the red rock landscape is every bit as dramatic, the crowds are nowhere to be found, and there's no entrance fee to pay.

This half-day adventure covers 2 miles of terrain that would be easy to walk right past without knowing where to look. With a guide leading the way, it becomes something else entirely: traversing narrow ledges above canyon drops, peering down into slot canyons from above, scrambling up sandstone to reach expansive views that put the whole Zion landscape in perspective. It's physically engaging without being strenuous, making it approachable for kids and adults across a wide range of ages and abilities.  The guide's knowledge of the area's geology, folklore, history, plants, and wildlife gives the terrain a depth that a self-guided walk simply can't replicate.

For larger groups in particular, this tour solves a problem that Zion's interior cannot. Inside the park, group sizes on most trails are capped at 12 people, shuttle logistics become genuinely complicated at scale, and permit systems limit access to many of the most iconic experiences. The Cliffs & Canyons™ tour has none of those constraints. Larger groups can move together, experience the adventure as one, and skip the permit scramble, the shuttle queues, and the entrance fee entirely — while still getting the red rock, the canyon views, and the guided interpretation that makes this landscape come alive.
