Clear Canoe Rental at Silver Springs State Park

Paddle around beautiful Silver Springs State Park in a clear canoe, and observe the natural world around and below you. Clear canoes allow an unobstructed view of your surroundings, and our rentals allow you to go at your own pace. Our canoes, and the State Park are also dog friendly!

Silver Springs State Park is over 4,000 acres of scenic wonder. It is home to a variety of mammals, reptiles, and birds. In our Clear Canoes you will have plenty of opportunities to see the local wildlife.

Frequent sightings in the uplands include armadillo, deer, turkey, fox, Sherman fox squirrel and gopher tortoise. Less frequently seen are coyote, bobcat and Florida black bear. The river is home to alligators, turtles, manatees and many species of fish.

Please ensure that you wear something you feel comfortable getting wet.

Rental Details

Choose from a two, four or eight hour rental.

You may have up to 2 people in the canoe. We do not charge per person for the rentals. Max 400 lbs. per canoe (two guests) and no more than 250 lbs. per seat (individual). Additionally participants must be physically fit for this activity.

Children- One child is permitted per canoe if the total weight of all canoers is 400 lbs. or less.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel free of charge until 48 hours before the scheduled reservation. All cancelations must be done via email. You will receive a confirmation that the reservation has been canceled. If the reservation is canceled within 48 hours before the scheduled trip the full price of the reservation will be charged. No-shows will be charged the full price of the reservation. The reservation cannot be transferred from one person to another. If you do not arrive by the rental time the reservation will be charged as a no-show.
