This daytime adventure combines two of Vieques' best water experiences into one 2-hour tour. Start by paddling to a private beach in a clear-bottom kayak, watching the vibrant reef ecosystem come to life through the transparent hull beneath you. Then snorkel among colorful coral and tropical fish at Cayo de Afuera, one of Vieques' most beautiful reef areas.
Mosquito Bio Bay Tours is a locally owned, certified eco-tour company based in Vieques, Puerto Rico. The tour accommodates a maximum of 6 guests, keeping the experience intimate and personalized. Four bottles of water per kayak are provided throughout the adventure.

- Meet at La Esperanza Pier, 107 Calle Flamboyan, Vieques, 00765, Puerto Rico. Look for the team in Mosquito Bio Bay branded shirts. Please arrive 10 minutes early.
Ages
Ages 4 to 65. Maximum group size is 6 guests. Groups requiring special arrangements should book in advance.
Difficulty / Skill Level
Beginner friendly. Participants should be comfortable in the water for the snorkel portion. Life jackets are provided and must be worn while kayaking. If you wear glasses, contacts are recommended for a better mask fit. Guests with facial hair should note that a mustache may cause the snorkel mask to leak.

Can I snorkel if I have never done it before?
Yes. The tour is beginner friendly and your guide will be with you throughout. Participants should be comfortable in the water, but no prior snorkeling experience is required.
Is the snorkeling safe for kids?
The tour is open to ages 4 to 65. Children often feel colder in the water than adults, so bringing a rash guard or water-friendly clothing is recommended. Life jackets are provided and required while kayaking.
Where does the kayak and snorkel tour go?
You will paddle in a clear-bottom kayak to a private beach, then snorkel the reef at Cayo de Afuera, one of Vieques most vibrant underwater spots, filled with colorful coral and tropical fish.
I wear glasses. Can I still snorkel?
Wearing contact lenses is recommended for the best snorkel mask fit. If you need a prescription mask, let the operator know in advance and they will do their best to accommodate you.
What happens if the weather is bad?
If the operator cancels the tour due to weather or safety conditions beyond their control, guests may reschedule or receive a full refund.

- Cancellations Made Within 24-48 Hours of the Tour: Eligible for a 50% refund or reschedule based on availability.
- Cancellations Made Less Than 24 Hours Before the Tour:No n-refundable. However, rescheduling may be offered at the discretion of management.
- No-Shows: Unfortunately, no refunds or rescheduling options will be provided for no-shows.
- Weather-Related Cancellations: In the event of inclement weather or conditions beyond our control, we will offer a full refund or the option to reschedule your tour.
