Skip the rental shop line. Christy Sports brings skis, snowboards and boots to you in Steamboat Springs, and fits everyone in your group at a meeting place set up around where you're staying. Expert technicians pre-set your gear before it's packed, and bring spare equipment in case someone needs a different size or a better fit.

How Delivery Works
- Reserve your delivery rental online. There is a 2-day minimum for delivery rentals.
- A delivery coordinator calls you before your trip to set a meeting place based on your lodging, and asks your group to pick a group leader to coordinate the fitting.
- The delivery team meets you at the agreed time and place. Your group leader works with the team to fit everyone in your party, and payment is taken at the end of the fitting.
- At the end of your trip, the team picks up your gear at a location you choose, or you can drop it in the Equipment Rental Return area at any Christy Sports store in the region.
Ski & Snowboard Delivery Packages
Christy Sports delivery packages include top-of-the-line gear from the best brands. Delivery is available for Demo, Premium and All-Mountain, and Kids packages. Sport packages are not offered for delivery.
Demo Ski & Snowboard Packages
Designed for intermediate to expert skiers and riders looking for high-performance gear across groomers, powder, bumps and steeps. Ski brands include Atomic, Salomon, Volkl, Rossignol, K2 and Nordica. Snowboard brands include Never Summer, Ride, Jones, Salomon and K2.
Premium Ski Package
Built for intermediate to advanced skiers who want responsive, stable performance across a variety of terrain and conditions. Ski brands include Atomic, K2, Rossignol, Nordica, Salomon and Volkl.
All-Mountain Snowboard Package
Built for intermediate to advanced riders who want responsive, stable performance across a variety of terrain and conditions. Board brands include K2, Salomon and Ride.
Kids Premium Ski & Snowboard Packages
For skiers and riders age 12 and under. The kids premium ski package suits intermediate to advanced young skiers who want added stability and performance across the mountain. The kids snowboard package has a soft, forgiving setup for learning, progressing and riding a variety of terrain.

Already have your own boots? Choose the "Skis Only" or "Snowboard Only" option for your package and you'll see your rate discounted. Ski-only rentals include poles.

Your rental doesn't end at the fitting. During your trip, stop by any of these Christy Sports shops to try a different ski or board, drop gear for an overnight wax, or have your boot fit adjusted:

Duration
Delivery rentals have a 2-day minimum. Reservations can be made for 1 day but will be charged the 2-day minimum. Multi-day rentals are available, and your gear is delivered to and picked up from your lodging regardless of the length of your rental.
Ages
We have options for every level - from first-timers to seasoned experts and everyone in between. Kids packages are for children 12 and under. Every renter must be at the fitting, and a parent or guardian must be present for anyone under 18.

- Helmet rentals are available for an additional cost at checkout
- Damage waiver - Your waiver covers all damage that can be repaired. It doesn't cover loss, theft or negligence.

How does ski rental delivery work in Steamboat Springs?
Reserve your delivery rental online. Before your trip, a delivery coordinator will call you to set a meeting place based on your lodging and ask your group to pick a group leader. The delivery team meets your party at the agreed time and place, fits everyone, and sets up your equipment. At the end of your trip, the team picks up your gear at a location you choose, or you can return it to any Christy Sports store in the region.
Is there a minimum number of days for delivery rentals?
There is a 2-day minimum for delivery rentals. Reservations can be made for 1 day but will be charged the 2-day minimum. Your gear will be delivered and picked up from your place of lodging regardless of duration.
Does everyone in my group need to be at the fitting?
Yes. Each person renting equipment must be present for proper fitting and to sign the rental agreement. If under age 18, a parent or guardian must be present. Each renter must be prepared to show proper ID.
When do I pay for my delivery rental?
Payment is taken at the end of your fitting, once everyone in your group is set up.
How much does delivery cost?
Delivery packages have their own rates, which are higher than picking up the same package in a shop. You'll see the delivery rate for each package when you book.
How do I return my rental gear?
At the end of your trip, the delivery team will coordinate a pickup at a location of your choice, so you can leave your gear and head home. You can also return your rentals to any Christy Sports store in the region by placing them in the designated Equipment Rental Return area.
Can I swap my skis or get a wax during my trip?
Yes. Stop by any Christy Sports shop in Steamboat Springs to change your skis or board, adjust your boot fit or get an overnight wax.
Does Kids Rent Free apply to delivery?
No, Kids Rent Free is not available for rental delivery.
Can I purchase a retail item and have it delivered with my rental gear?
No, retail items can't be purchased and delivered with your rental gear at this time.
Do you offer helmet and goggle rentals?
If you would like a helmet please reserve it with your rental. Helmets are available for an additional fee. Helmet quantities are limited and we cannot guarantee a helmet will be available without a reservation.
At this time we do not offer goggles to rent. These items can be purchased in store or online.
Do you offer a damage waiver for rental equipment?
Yes, all Christy Sports locations offer the damage waiver. It is available for an additional fee. Damage waiver covers only breakage or damage of equipment, it does not cover loss, theft or personal injury.
What size ski and snowboard boots do you carry?
We have ski boot sizes from a junior size 8 to an adult size 16, and snowboard boots to a size 15.
Can I bring my own boots?
No problem. Choose the skis only or snowboard only option, which doesn't include boots. If you're using some of your own gear, have it ready at the fitting so the team can set up your equipment.
Can I choose my skis?
Our expert team members will bring a suggested setup based on your skier type, local conditions and your personal details, plus spare equipment in case someone needs a different size or fit.
What ages can use a kids rental package?
Kids packages are for kids 12 and under. Renters over 12 years old must rent an adult package. The reservation system will not allow for renters over 12 to reserve a kids package.
Can a child 12 and under rent an adult package?
Yes, a child under 12 can rent an adult package if desired. The charge will still be for the adult package daily rate.

Do you rent ski and snowboard clothing?
No, we currently do not rent ski or snowboard clothing. Our locations have a wide selection of ski and snowboard clothes available for purchase.
