Charter Sports is located inside Blue Sky Breckenridge Condominiums, next to the Snowflake chairlift and lift ticket office, and on the free bus route. This Breckenridge ski rental location offers complimentary ski, boot, and shoe storage for our rental customers. Demo Packages
For skiers and snowboarders who are unwilling to sacrifice performance, the Demo package is the way to go. Our top-of-the-line ski and snowboard package is designed for intermediate to advanced riders making the whole mountain their playground. Demo packages are recommended for intermediate to advanced skiers and riders.
Performance Packages
Performance packages are designed for beginner to intermediate skiers and snowboarders to support continuing development and an exhilarating mountain experience. This package is designed to help you progress from beginner to intermediate rider. Our performance skis and snowboards are designed to specifically address the beginners' demands, and help you learn to ride the whole mountain! This package is also great for trying snowboarding for the first time.
Sport Packages
This package is designed for value-focused beginners and is recommended for "never-ever” level 1 skiers. Sport skis and snowboards are designed to be easiest to learn on, optimized for turning at slower speeds, sliding, and stopping.
Junior Packages
We offer both standard and demo junior ski packages for kids ages 12 and under. Our standard junior ski and snowboards are versatile junior skis and snowboards that equip kids of all levels to safely keep up with family and friends on a wide variety of terrain. Demo junior skis are perfect for advanced junior skiers (12 years old and younger) and are designed for everything from all-mountain BIG adventure skiing to the fanatic who likes to go jibbing in the park.
Skis & Boards Only
Already have your own boots? You can rent just skis or snowboards by themselves, without having to purchase the whole package. Simply choose the ski or board package you would like to reserve, but do not check “with boots”. As long as your boots meet industry standards (i.e. no excessive wear), we will adjust our skis to your boots at the time of fitting.
Snowshoe Rentals
The Rendezvous and Elektra Rendezvous feature Atlas’ patent-pending Light-RideTM Suspension (LRS), engineered for comfort and efficiency with every step. The hassle-free StrappTM binding provides excellent arch support in gender-specific lasts so you can stay out on the trail longer.
Duration
Full-day or multi-day rentals are available, with the option to pick up your rentals after 1:00 PM the night before your first rental day.
Shop Hours: 8 am to 7 pm.
Rental equipment pick-up and drop-off are available at any of our Charter Sports Locations. Rentals are due back by closing on the final day of your rental.
Pro Tip: Pick up the day before you hit the slopes (1 PM or later) so you can head straight to the lift the next morning.

We have options for every level - from first-timers to seasoned experts and everyone in between. Junior packages are perfect for children 12 and under.

- Ski Package: Skis, boots, bindings and poles
- Snowboard Package: Snowboard, boots, and bindings
- Ski or Board Only: If you don't need boots, uncheck the box for boots at checkout, and we'll leave them out. Your package will come with a board or skis and bindings. Ski-only rentals also include poles.
Additional Items:
- Helmet rentals are available for all customers of all ages. We recommend a helmet for everyone on the mountain. Charter Sports offers new helmets from Giro that are lightweight, warm, and comfortable. Complimentary helmet liners are provided with every helmet rental.

FAQs
Can I pick up my rental equipment the day before my first ski day?
Yes, absolutely! When making a reservation and choosing your dates of skiing, check the box indicating that you will pick up your rental after 1 pm and before 7 pm the day before your first ski/ride day. If you are delayed, do not worry, we always hold the reservations for 24 hours from pick up date.
Can I exchange my equipment if I want something different?
You Bet! Skiers and riders often change models and/or lengths during the course of their stay. You can exchange at any time, at any of our locations and even switch between skis and snowboards! We want to make sure you have a no-hassle experience in the shops, so you can have a great time on the hill.
What the Charter Sports BlueSki rental shop hours?
Our Winter shop hours are from 8 am to 7 pm, daily.
What if I don't know my ski boot size?
Your boot will most likely be the exact same size as the shoe you are currently wearing. Our ski boots have been selected for their comfort and performance. Our trained technicians will convert your shoe size and fit each customer individually in our shops to ensure a proper fit before you hit the hill.
What if I rent skis for 3 days but decide to snowboard the last day?
No Problem! Bring your skis in and we’ll set you up on a snowboard. There may be a slight price adjustment depending on the package you select.
Can I reserve a specific ski or snowboard?
Yes! Simply include the specific request in the “Questions/Special Requests” section. We cannot guarantee a specific request, but we will do our best to provide the requested equipment, of find you a suitable alternative.
Can I rent from one location and return to another?
Yes! You may pick up and drop off at any one of our convenient Charter Sports locations.
What are the largest ski boot and snowboard boot in your inventory?
We carry up to a size 15 ski and snowboard boot, advanced reservations are strongly recommended as we have limited quantities in those sizes.
What if I have my own boots?
Simply choose the ski or board package you would like to reserve, but do not check “with boots”. As long as your boots meet industry standards (i.e. no excessive wear), we will adjust our skis to your boots at the time of fitting.
Can I rent ski or snowboard boots only?
No, boot rentals are not available without skis or a snowboard.
Can I use my own ski boots with rentals?
Yes, you can use your own ski boots with rental skis.
Are goggles available for rent?
No, goggles are not available for rent and are not included with helmet rentals. They are available for sale. Goggles have a soft liner that would absorb sweat from a guest, and would not be good rental products. Also they can scratch easily and therefore would not be good rentals.
Do lift tickets include ski rentals?
No, lift tickets do not include rentals, The mountain operator is the only entity that can offer lift tickets and lessons, and rentals are an additional charge.
Does Charter Sports BlueSki offer snowshoe rentals in Breckenridge?
Yes! We offer snowshoes in two sizes, men’s and women’s. We do not offer kids snowshoes.
How do snowshoes work?
Snowshoes strap on over your hiking shoes or boots and adjust to your feet. The additional surface area helps you to stay on top of the snow, and not sink in. Walking in snowshoes is no different than walking in a hiking shoe or boot.
What shoes should I wear with snowshoes?
We recommend wearing comfortable, waterproof hiking shoes or boots.
Are reservations required for rentals?
Reservations are not required, but are strongly recommended. We will work off your renter data and select appropriately sized gear for your rental experience. By having a reservation, your equipment will be set aside with your name, pre-teched, and ready to go the day before your first ski day. This GRAB & GO process will absolutely expedite your rental experience and help limit the time spent in our stores.
Does Charter Sports BlueSky offer ski storage?
Yes, the shop can store your skis, snowboards and boots after your day on the mountain.
