FAQs
Do I need a reservation to rent a bike?
Advance reservations are strongly recommended, especially during peak season, to ensure we have the appropriately sized bikes for you! We will work off your renter data and select appropriately sized gear for your rental experience. By having a reservation, your equipment will be set aside with your name, pre-teched, and ready to go. This GRAB & GO process will absolutely expedite your rental experience and help limit the time spent in our stores. Reservations made less than 24 hours in advance are not guaranteed.
Is the rental suitable for kids and families?
Absolutely. We have a full range of junior bikes, trailers, and tag-a-longs, making it ideal for family outings and riders of all ages.
Where do you reccomend riding?
Copper Mountain Bike Park – Lift-accessed downhill trails via the American Eagle Lift and Woodward Express. Trails like Gopher It and Blue Oso offer a mix of flowy singletrack, berms, and jumps for beginner to intermediate riders.
Tenmile Recpath – A scenic, paved path connecting Copper to Frisco, ideal for families, casual riders, and e-bikes.
Easy Dirt Trails Around Copper – Explore mellow dirt paths near the base area or venture onto nearby National Forest roads for a light adventure.
Are E-Bikes allowed at Copper Mountain Bike Park?
Our e-bikes are great for cruising paved paths and casual rides around Copper Mountain, but they are not recommended for the lift-accessed downhill trails in the Copper Mountain Bike Park. The bike park features technical terrain, jumps, and fast descents that require a full suspension mountain bike designed for rugged trails.
If you plan to ride the bike park, we recommend renting a full suspension mountain bike. These bikes are built to handle the challenging terrain, providing better control, comfort, and safety on downhill trails.
What bike should I rent if I’m not sure where I’ll ride?
If you're riding paved paths or doing a casual cruise, a hybrid or e-bike is great. For trails, opt for a front or full suspension mountain bike.
What if the weather is bad?
Weather can change quickly in the mountains. Rentals proceed rain or shine.
Cancellation Policy
All reservations that are not cancelled within 24 hours will be charged a 1 day rental of all equipment reserved, to the credit card on file.
