About
Join us for our Paddle Into Fitness teacher training! This course will equip you with the knowledge you need to safely lead a beginner stand up paddleboard lesson, a SUP yoga class, and SUP fitness classes.
The course is divided into three modules:
- Module 1: Standup Paddling
The first two days we teach you how to efficiently lead a basic beginner SUP lesson. We cover the history of SUP, important safety considerations, equipment, basic and intermediate stroke technique, and turns.
- Module 2: SUP Yoga
In the second module (days 3/4), we teach you how to lead an effective SUP yoga class. We will discuss the many factors and considerations of leading a yoga class on the water. We will share with you two SUP yoga flows – a beginner and an advanced class. There will be plenty of time to practice teaching one another!
- Module 3: SUP Fitness
The third module (days 5/6) is dedicated to SUP fitness. We will discuss more advanced SUP techniques and fitness challenges on the water. We will teach you how to create a well balanced workout on the water.
You may choose to participate in 1, 2 or all 3 modules, but if you are interested in only part of the training, please note that module 1 is mandatory.

Cancellation Policy
We require 24 hours notice if you wish to reschedule or cancel your class with a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior will not be rescheduled or refunded at all.
Reimbursements will not be given for no-shows, nor for customers who are more than 5 minutes late to class.
*Please note if you booked through a third-party (Airbnb or Trip Advisor), you will need to contact them regarding their cancellation policy.
Classes run rain or shine, however, in the event of unsafe water conditions (heavy rain, high winds, or lightning), class will be cancelled. We will do our best to reschedule you, but if we are not able to, we will refund you fully. Refunds will be placed back onto the credit card used at time of purchase. We will notify you via phone or email 30-60 minutes prior to class in the event of a cancellation.
