Cancellation & Rebooking Policy

Direct Bookings

Cancellations or changes made at least 48 hours before the scheduled departure time are eligible for a full refund or complimentary rebooking, subject to availability.

For changes requested between 24 and 48 hours before departure, Hawaii Ocean Charters may offer a one-time courtesy rebooking. Once a reservation has been moved under this courtesy policy, the booking becomes nonrefundable and cannot be changed or rebooked again.

Cancellations or changes requested less than 24 hours before departure are not eligible for a refund or complimentary rebooking.

Late Arrivals & Missed Departures

Guests are responsible for arriving at the designated meeting location on time. Please allow sufficient time for traffic, parking, locating the harbor, and check-in.

Shared tours cannot be held for late-arriving guests beyond our normal departure procedures. Guests who arrive too late to board or otherwise miss their scheduled departure are not eligible for a refund.

In some circumstances, our team may have limited same-day accommodation options available based on remaining availability. Same-day accommodations are not guaranteed and are offered at the discretion of Hawaii Ocean Charters.

No-Shows

A no-show occurs when a guest does not arrive for their scheduled trip and does not notify Hawaii Ocean Charters that they will not be attending before the vessel departs.

No-shows forfeit the full value of their reservation and are not eligible for a refund or complimentary rebooking.

Third-Party & Affiliate Bookings

Reservations made through third-party websites, travel agencies, affiliates, or other booking partners are generally subject to the cancellation and modification policies of the company through which the reservation was purchased. Please refer to your original booking confirmation for the policy applicable to your reservation.

Hawaii Ocean Charters Cancellations & Operational Changes

If Hawaii Ocean Charters cancels a trip due to weather, minimum passenger requirements, safety concerns, or another operational reason, guests may choose to rebook to another available departure or receive a full refund, regardless of whether the original reservation was made directly or through a third-party booking partner.

If Hawaii Ocean Charters asks a guest to move to another departure because a trip has not reached its required minimum passenger count, the guest may choose to accept the new departure or receive a full refund.

Special Circumstances

We understand that unexpected circumstances can occur. Reservations that fall outside the applicable cancellation or rebooking period remain subject to the policies above; however, our team may have limited courtesy or recovery options available depending on the circumstances and availability.

Any accommodation offered outside the stated cancellation policy is discretionary, subject to availability, and does not guarantee a refund, credit, or complimentary rebooking.
