Where to Ride
BCRD Wood River Trail
The BCRD Wood River Trail system is the best way to see the Sun Valley area.
Adams Gulch Trail Complex
The Adam’s Gulch Trail Complex is a system of trails just outside of town with easy access from the Wood River Trail. The trails range from beginner double track too expert all within easy reach. If you are new to MTB try the Shady Side and Sunnyside trails, you they are too much there are plenty of opportunites to bail out. For more advanced riders consinue on to the Adam’s Rib or Forbidden Fruit trail for more of a thrill.
Trout Lake
Enjoy Sun Valley’s best hot tub! Just 9 miles west of town on Warm Springs Rd is Frenchman’s Hot Springs, a natural spring in the river with multiple pools. Our Allroads e-bike is a perfect way to cruise there and back while enjoying a scenic road along the river.

FAQs
What is your physical location?
Black Tie is conveniently located at 660 N. Main St. in downtown Ketchum.
What do I bring with me the day of my rental?
At a minimum, you should wear comfortable clothing and shoes appropriate for riding a bike. It is a good idea to have sunscreen, and most of our bikes have a provision for carrying a standard size bicycle water bottle.
How fast will the E-bike bike go?
All of our e-bikes are Class 1 or Class 2, and the assist is limited to 20mph. However, they will go as fast as you want to pedal!
How long with the battery last on the E-bike rental?
The range of an e-bike is unlimited, but the range for the charge is entirely dependant on how much assist you use vs. how much you pedal. Most customers will have no problem riding an entire day on one charge of our bikes.
Do I have to wear a helmet?
All riders must wear helmets. Helmets are provided with your rental at no additional charge.
What happens if I damage a bike?
You are responsible for any damage to the bike.
Do you deliver or pick up bikes?
Black Tie offers pick and and delivery for bikes in the Ketchum/Sun Valley area, south of the SNRA and north of Ohio Gulch. There is no charge for delivery and pick up for multi-day rentals.
What happens if I get a flat tire?
If you get a flat tire just call and they will meet you where you are to fix the problem.
When do you charge my card?
Your credit card will be charged when you pick up your rentals.
Can we rent for multiple days?
Yes! Both multi-day and weekly rental discounts are offered. For rental periods longer than a week please call.
How Old Do You Need To Be To Rent?
You must be 14 years of age or older to use an e-bike. Black Tie offers regular bikes in childrens sizes. Be aware that groups of mixed e-bikes and regular bikes are difficult to ride as a group.
What comes with the rental?
All bike rentals come with a helmet. All paddle sports rentals come with a life jacket and inflation tools.
Cancellation Policy
Reservations cancelled 48 hours or more prior to scheduled delivery will not be charged. If cancelled within 48 hours, the guest will be subject to a charge of one full day rental per person plus applicable taxes on the reservation. Cancellation or delays due to weather or other reasons outside the guest’s control such as airline delays or cancellations will also be rescheduled or cancelled without charge.
