FAQs
How long is the hiking loop?
The loop is around 7 miles long with flat terrain with little to no elevation change.
Can the hike be made shorter?
Yes. The hiking groups are small and we can cater to the length of the group and can adjust to make the hike shorter.
Are the groups open or private?
The hikes are open groups, but we keep the groups to a maximum of 7 participants. Most of the time, they end up being private groups. If we do have a mixed group, we check participant goals for the hike to try our best to accommodate each individual.
What if the weather is bad?
We run tours rain or shine – though we’ll reschedule the tour in the event of unsafe or extreme weather. Florida’s weather can change quickly, and rainstorms often pass in a short time. In many cases, a brief wait is all that’s needed before continuing the tour.
Is there parking available?
Yes! Free parking is available at the meeting location.
Should I tip my tour guide?
If you feel your tour guide(s) have provided an exceptional trip experience, gratuities are encouraged – and welcomed – at the end of the tour. We believe that recognizing excellent service is a personal matter, though 15-20% of your ticket price is a common practice.
