We offer both a carbon and aluminum option, and you'll be able to select your preferred pedal setup at checkout.

Kid's Bikes & Equipment Kids bike rentals are the best way to kickstart your family's fun in the outdoors in the San Francisco area. We provide premium biking equipment perfect for young riders, ensuring a safe and exhilarating experience for the entire family. Whether your kiddo is ready to bike on their own, or need a trailer or child seat, we have you covered!

Duration

1. 2-hour rentals and all-day rentals available; bikes must be returned by closing time (hours vary by season — confirm at check-in)
   
2. Overnight rentals available for an additional fee of $25 per bike; bikes kept overnight must be stored indoors — never locked outside, as they will be stolen
   

Location of Rental Pickup

2661 Taylor Street, San Francisco, CA 94133 — located at Fisherman's Wharf between North Point and Beach Street, directly on the waterfront bike path.

The Golden Gate Bridge is approximately 4 miles (6.4 km) from the shop, a 30–40 minute ride on a standard city bike or 20–25 minutes on an e-bike. Restrooms are available at the shop. There are multiple paid parking garages and metered street parking throughout the Fisherman's Wharf area; parking is not validated. The "F Market & Wharves" historic streetcar stops one block away at Taylor Street.

Ages & Requirements

1. Suitable for all ages
   
2. Kids' equipment available: independent bikes (20" and 24" wheels), bike trailers (fits 1–2 toddlers), tag-a-longs (Kazoo single-speed for budding cyclists), and front handlebar child seats (fits six months old up to a sturdy toddler)
   
3. E-bikes recommended for ages 13 and older; younger children may ride with parental consent if correctly sized
   
4. Guests should be comfortable riding a bike independently; staff are happy to advise on route selection based on your ability

Not Included

1. Ferry ticket from Sausalito (or Tiburon) back to Fisherman's Wharf — can be purchased at the shop counter before you depart (recommended to save time at boarding), online, or on the boat. Note: purchase tickets through the app or on the boat rather than at the kiosk to avoid any ticketing confusion
   
2. Bike drop-off in Sausalito — the shop offers a paid pickup service if you'd rather not bring your bike on the ferry; arrange on the day by calling the shop
   
3. Cross-location return fee — if returning to the Bay Street location (501 Bay Street) instead of this location, a restocking fee of $25 per bike applies
   
4. Gratuity — never expected, but if you have a great experience, please consider gifting 10–25% to the shop staff
   

What to Bring / Wear

1. Comfortable, layered clothing — SF weather changes quickly and can vary significantly between neighborhoods; the waterfront and bridge can be much cooler and windier than the city. Rear bike racks with bungee cords are included to stow extra layers
   
2. Closed-toe shoes suitable for pedaling — sneakers or athletic shoes work well; performance bike riders may bring their own clipless shoes
   
3. Sunglasses and sunscreen
   
4. Small daypack or bag for personal items
   
5. Rain jacket or light poncho — rentals run rain or shine; ponchos are available for purchase at the shop if needed
   
6. Valid photo ID and a credit card for the rental deposit
