Adult Surf Camp in North Beach - Upgrade Your Skills
Tuesday evenings turn North Beach's "The Wall" into a laid-back classroom for adult surfers looking to build skills alongside a group of peers. For novice surfers 18+ with some surfing experience. This weekly camp gives novice adult surfers a recurring chance to work with your guides in a relaxed, encouraging setting as the summer season rolls on.
It's a popular way to make surfing part of your weekly routine rather than a one-off outing, with instruction geared toward helping everyone in the group progress together. Whether you're brand new to standing up on a board or just want more consistent water time, this camp keeps you coming back week after week.

- 1.5 hours (6:00pm–7:30pm), Tuesdays
- Please arrive early for check-in and gear fitting before heading to the beach

FAQs
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes. Lessons, camps, and rentals must be scheduled ahead of time; lesson times are offered at 8am, 10am, 12pm, 2pm, 4pm, and 6pm daily during the season.
How early should I arrive?
Please arrive 45 minutes before your scheduled start time to allow for check-in and wetsuit fitting before heading down to the beach. If you're spending the day at the beach already, you're welcome to check in earlier and meet your guide at your lesson time.
Where do lessons and camps take place?
All lessons and camps take place at 12th Street on North Beach, known locally as "The Wall," during low to mid tide.
What happens if the weather or surf conditions aren't good?
Lessons, camps, and rentals only run when weather and surf conditions permit. Specific rescheduling and refund terms should be confirmed directly through the booking confirmation before your session.
Is there a discount for booking multiple lessons?
Yes, a loyalty card is available for private one-on-one lessons, giving you a free lesson after a set number of paid sessions.
Do I need prior surfing experience for Adult Surf Camp?
This camp is aimed at novice adult surfers, and some experience is necessary.
Is equipment provided?
Yes, a surfboard and wetsuit are provided. Participants may also bring their own gear instead.
Can I attend every week?
The camp runs weekly on Tuesdays throughout the mid-June to August season, so repeat attendance is welcome.
Cancellation Policy
Cinnamon Rainbows Surf Co. reserves the right to cancel any lesson or rental due to inclement weather or conditions without prior notice. Your money will be refunded in this case.
We require a 24-hour cancellation notice to have your payment refunded. Call the shop with extenuating circumstances and we will issue a voucher for the lesson/rental that needs to be cancelled but payment will not be refunded
