FAQs
Is there a weight limit for rentals?
There is no specific weight limit for rentals. So long as you are comfortable paddling, our rentals can accommodate all body types.
Can we rent from you and take our rentals to a different location?
Yes. If you wish to transport the equipment to some other local lake or pond, we may have inflatable roof racks and straps that you may use at no extra charge, based on availability.
What is the weather policy?
We do not offer refunds due to inclement weather, but you may reschedule through the end of the year; you will be issued a credit valid for 12 months from the rental date. Rain alone is not considered inclement weather. Conditions where lightning is present are considered to be inclement weather. Sustained high winds (15 mph +) may be considered to be inclement weather. In the event of windy conditions, we may offer a downwind pickup and shuttle back to our parking area at no additional charge, if conditions are appropriate.
How do you determine if the weather is bad enough to cancel rentals?
If an event or rental cannot begin because of weather conditions, we will hold off rentals and events start for up to 30 minutes. At that time conditions will be evaluated, and a decision will be made whether the event or rental can continue or not. Weather conditions often improve, therefore events and rentals are not canceled in advance. Some events and rentals may continue in the rain.
