Description
Napa Valley Weekend Bike Rental from Yountville
Yountville is the best starting point for a two-day Napa Valley bike weekend — perfectly centered on the Vine Trail, with the valley's top wine corridor in both directions and one of Napa's best restaurant towns right outside the shop door. Spend day one heading north: ride past Opus One, Groth, and Silver Oak, stop for lunch at Oakville Grocery, and turn back at your leisure. On day two, go south: follow the Vine Trail through the Oak Knoll District toward Napa and the Oxbow Market, or take your time with a winery visit you missed on the way out the day before.
Two days from Yountville means you cover the valley properly in both directions — something a single day rarely allows. Pick up your comfort cruiser, pedal-assist e-bike, or road bike when you're ready and return it by closing on day two.
Duration
2 days. Pick up on day one during shop hours; return by shop closing on day two.

Open daily 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day).

Can I return to a different shop location?
Yes — point-to-point rides are available across all three locations. A $20-per-bike Relocation Fee applies when you return to a different shop from where you started. The three locations are:
- Downtown Napa — 1275 McKinstry Street, Napa, CA 94559
- Yountville — 6500 Washington Street, Yountville, CA 94599
- St. Helena — 2800 Main Street, St. Helena, CA 94574 (at Charles Krug Winery)
Note that there is no Calistoga location; the St. Helena shop is the closest (8 miles south of Calistoga). Shuttles and bike retrieval services are not offered.
Do I need to book in advance?
Reservations are strongly recommended, especially during peak season (May–October) and on weekends. Inventory is limited and the shop's rental fleet is frequently fully booked on busy days.
How should I plan my two days riding from Yountville?
Day one suggestion: ride north on quiet country roads past Opus One, Groth, and Silver Oak — stop for lunch at Oakville Grocery (approximately 4 miles / 6 km north), then continue or turn back at your pace. Day two suggestion: head south on the Vine Trail through the Oak Knoll District, stopping at Domaine Chandon or Trefethen, and push all the way into Downtown Napa for Oxbow Market. Round trip to Napa is approximately 18 miles (29 km); round trip to Oakville is approximately 8 miles (13 km). Prefer to explore further? A $20-per-bike Relocation Fee lets you return bikes at the Napa or St. Helena shop instead of riding back.
