Rustic Paddling Adventure in Everglades National Park

Accentuate your trip to the Everglades with a tranquil paddle through the other-worldly waterways of the U.S.A.'s largest subtropical wilderness. Unique in it's biodiversity, the park is renowned for its staggering array of birds (including flamingoes!), manatees, large reptiles, fish, and insects that are endemic to the area. Unite with the landscape as you paddle the pristine waters and experience close up and personal encounters with the Floridian wildlife.

Rental Details

Rentals include single kayaks, double kayaks, and canoes.
December 1 thru April 15 we will transport kayaks, and two person canoes to any trail head on the access road between 9 Mile Pond and the Flamingo Marina. There is a $35 fee per vessel.
During winter season two person canoes are already at 9 Mile Pond. No transportation fee is required for limited supply of canoes already at 9 Mile Pond. Kayaks and extra canoes will incur a transportation fee.

Our activity Booth Operates from 8AM to 5PM - ALL Rentals (with the exception of overnights) must be back during booth hours.

The check in kiosk is located at the northeast-most point of the Guy Bradley Visitor Center, next to the Flamingo Marina at 1 Flamingo Lodge Hwy, Homestead, FL 33034

Ages

Must be 18 to rent, valid ID to be presented at kiosk upon pick up. All participants must be able to swim. Children must be accompanied by guardian.

FAQs

Where can I leave my things?

There is no onsite storage for valuables, so please leave any items in your locked car.

Are pets allowed?

The Everglades are a national park, so pets are not allowed.

How far in advance should I book?

Summer is the slower season, giving guests more flexibility, however winter participants should book at least a few weeks in advance.

What safety measures are in place?

Guests will meet for a safety briefing and protocol run down before their adventure.

Cancellation Policy

Customers will receive a refund, minus any FareHarbor booking fees, for cancellations made at least 72 hours prior to the reserved tour time. Refunds will not be granted due to weather, unless the operator has to cancel the tour due to severe weather. Contact us by phone at 855-708-2207 to cancel an existing reservation. No-shows, cancellations within 72 hours, and late arrivals will not be refunded.
