E-Bike Rentals in Moab with Two Guided E-Bike Tours

Electric bikes are hands down the very best way to explore an area. You can easily cover lots of ground, while still getting an up close and personal look at all the scenery and attractions, making it a great way to experience Moab!

Specifically designed for travelers coming to Moab on the Rocky Mountaineer train, the Rocky Mountaineer Gold Package is the perfect option for travelers who want to see the most of Moab in a short amount of time. This package includes a rental e-bike for your entire stay, plus two guided e-bike tours. Bikes will be delivered to your hotel the afternoon of your arrival, so you'll have the opportunity to explore Moab on your own before joining us for two of our Moab scenic e-bike tours - the "E-Bike History Tour & Wine Tasting at Spanish Valley Vineyards" and "Explore Moab Tour."

Moab E-Biking Itinerary

Bikes will be delivered directly to your hotel, so you can check out the town of Moab before we meet for an evening tour. Our first adventure will be the E-Bike History Tour & Wine Tasting at Spanish Valley Vineyards. You'll meet at our headquarters at 3:00 PM, and we'll begin our leisurely ride out the South Moab Valley with a few historic stops on the way to Spanish Valley Vineyards. On this private tour, you'll explore the Moab backroads on our electric bikes, taking in the stunning red rock scenery. We'll learn more about the history of this historic vineyard while we enjoy a wine tasting with charcuterie, before riding back to your hotel in a van.

That evening, you'll leave your bikes locked out in front of your hotel. A freshly charged battery will await you the next morning at our headquarters.

After a good night's rest, you'll return to our headquarters by 9 am for the "Explore Moab Tour." Join us for a fun and easy ride around Moab on back roads and incredible bike paths with an experienced guide. We'll make several stops to share stories about the area, visit pictographs, see dinosaur tracks, and if there's enough time, we'll even stop for a snack, lunch, or ice cream. This tour winds along the Moab Canyon Pathway for up to 30 miles of riding. Your guides will select the route based on your experience and ability level, making it a perfect tour for all riders.

After the tour, you'll have the option to be dropped off at your hotel, or you can continue to use the rental bikes until 1:00 PM. Join us to experience this historical E-bike tour down a beautiful canyon with amazing views and experience the best of the Moab outback on this Moab e-biking experience!

E-Bike Rental Options

Pedego bikes are fully loaded with user-friendly features that make riding even more fun. When selecting a bike, keep rider height in mind:

Riders 5'5" and under should select a 24" bike
Riders between 4'11 and 5'4" should select the Element.

Element Fat Tire, Adventure E-Bike

The Pedego Element is a sporty and lightweight fat tire electric bike that’s perfect for smaller riders who are 4'11" and up. With its responsive handling, smooth-riding tires, and powerful motor, the Element is designed to make cycling a breeze on the Moab bike paths.

We are on the south side of Moab on the west side of the Highway 3 building down from 400 East. After the morning tour, we can take you back to your hotel or you can enjoy the bikes until 1 pm, then return them to our headquarters.

FAQ's

How do you choose the route for the Spanish Valley Vineyard ride?

We'll either head directly to the winery for beginner riders or take a longer scenic route with more stops for experienced riders who are comfortable going faster on the bikes. When you register for the adventure, you'll note your experience level so we can appropriately determine the route. On average, we ride about 10 miles, but this ranges from 9 to 14 miles depending on the route we take.

Is previous experience required?

You should be comfortable riding a bike, but this adventure is appropriate for novice cyclists and is beginner-friendly.

Is there a minimum or maximum number of guests?

This tour can accommodate between 2 and 12 guests.

Is there a maximum weight?

The maximum rider weight is 400 lbs.

Are meals included?

Only charcuterie and snacks are included during the wine tasting. There is no restaurant at Spanish Valley Vineyards, so you'll want to plan to get dinner after our excursion is over. Lunch is not included in the Explore Moab tour.

What is the weather policy?

If we need to cancel a tour due to bad weather, we'll offer you the option to reschedule for another day or receive a full refund if you are unavailable. However, please note that we do not cancel tours based on forecasts alone, as Moab weather can be unpredictable and often doesn't align with the forecast.
