What's included with my kayak rental?
Your double kayak comes with two paddles and two life jackets, sized for two paddlers.
What wildlife might I see while kayaking?
Sea turtles (honu) are commonly spotted along several of the recommended paddling routes, and Makena Bay in particular offers a good chance of seeing manta rays or a Hawaiian monk seal.
Where can I kayak?
A few favorites we point to: Kanaha Beach near Kahului for a spot away from the main tourist areas, Makena Bay for calm early-morning water and a good chance of spotting a Hawaiian monk seal, Olowalu Beach for paddling over a coral head, and Kama'ole Beach Park II for an easy, scenic stretch of coastline.
Can I transport the double kayak myself?
No. Vehicle soft racks are available on request for single kayaks only, so double kayaks aren't set up for self-transport in the same way. Plan on paddling from wherever your kayak is delivered.
Is delivery included with my rental?
Yes. Delivery and pickup are free and included with every rental. Your guides will bring your gear directly to your condo, hotel, vacation rental, or a beach of your choosing anywhere on Maui.
How far in advance should I book?
Booking a day or more ahead is recommended, since online reservations for one-day rentals require at least 24 hours' notice. Orders placed before 11:00 am (HST) can typically be delivered the same day.
Cancellation Policy
Customers will receive a full refund with a 48-hour notice of cancellation. Customers will receive a full refund in case of tour guide cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, TOURS only. No shows are charged full price.
