- Morning: 10:30am - 12:30pm
- Afternoon: 1:30pm - 3:30pm
Location/Where to Meet
Ages & Requirements
- Minimum age: 10 years old
- Participants must know how to ride a bike prior to the 101 lesson.
- You may only take ONE 101 lesson.
- You may not ride the lift before the lesson.
- Participants are not permitted to pick up their rental until 15 minutes before the lesson start time.

This lesson is designed for riders who can confidently ride a bike but are new to mountain biking, especially downhill and lift-access trails.
Can I bring my own equipment?
You’re welcome to bring your own equipment if you prefer, but your bike should be suitable for downhill riding.
What should I expect to learn?
Instructors will focus on foundational mountain biking skills like braking, body positioning, cornering, and safely navigating beginner trails.
What size bikes do you carry?
We offer a range of bike sizes to fit riders of almost any height. Here’s a general guide to help you choose the right size based on your height:
- Youth: 4'0" to 4'9"
- Extra Small: 4'11" to 5'2"
- Small: 5'1" to 5'6"
- Medium: 5'6" to 5'10"
- Large: 5'9" to 6'1"
- Extra Large: 6'1" and taller
Cancellation Policy
We retain a 5% cancellation fee for any cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance of your scheduled program. All reservations are non-refundable 48 hours or less to your scheduled program with exceptions for bike park closures.
