Is Keystone good for snowboarding?

The impressive Rocky Mountain views, world-class trails, night skiing and modern amenities are some of the things that make Keystone good for snowboarding. Recognized as one of the top resorts in the US, Keystone is accessible, has plentiful lifts, and a wide variety of expertly-groomed trails. The distribution of trails – 12% for beginners, 39% for advanced, and 49% for expert skiers – makes the Keystone one of the best Colorado resorts for all levels of snowboarders.  Keystone’s more advanced terrain is protected by trees, so may be a good option when the winds are high at other nearby resorts.

Keystone Resort consists of three interconnected mountains: Dercum Mountain, North Peak, and The Outback. Each of these mountains offers varied terrain with a little something for all ability levels. Dercum Mountain is home to long green and blue runs and perfect groomers to keep you cruising all day. North Peak is the place for intermediate and expert skiers and riders that love long trails full of bumps. The Outback has some of Colorado’s best tree skiing in the North and South Bowls. Keystone provides one of Colorado’s longest ski days by offering night skiing. For the majority of the ski and snowboard season, many lifts remain open until 8 pm from Wednesday through Saturday so you can get in that many more trips down the mountain.
