Arapahoe Basin, CO

Also known as A-Basin, Arapahoe Basin is a popular skiing capital in Summit County, Colorado. Located just 6 miles from Keystone Ski Resort, and an hour and a half drive from Denver, A-Basin is an accessible ski stop if you’re planning on ski-hopping around Colorado. This ski hub is considered the Legend – it’s known to have the longest ski and ride season in the state. Skiing is serious business here – with 147 trails and 1428 acres of skiable terrain, you’ll find your own adventure whether you’re a beginner, an advanced skier, or someone skiing for leisure. The ski resort features an activity center, a kid’s area, a stunning view of the Rockies, and an on-the mountain European bistro for apres-ski.

Arapahoe Basin Resort

This famous ski resort may be known for its relaxed, laid-back vibe, don’t let its chill fool you. Arapahoe is home to 40% intermediate/advanced skiing and snowboarding trails like the Upper East Wall, and the Montezuma Bowl. The Pali Face, the steepest trail at 1329 vertical feet offers tight and technical runs for adrenaline junkies. Despite being known for its unforgiving trails, Arapahoe is also beginner-friendly – in fact, 30% of its trails cater to newbies! Arapahoe Basin does not offer night skiing, but you can experience that at nearby Keystone Ski Resort.
