Nepal White Water Rafting
Nepal lays claim to eight out of the fourteen highest peaks in the world, ancient culture and diverse religions, high altitude Buddhist monasteries and colorful Hindu temples. Snowmelt and moonsoon rains from the breathtaking Himalayas create grand rivers that thunder down the foothills to the plains of the Ganges. Experience these great rivers on a Nepal rafting trip.
Rafting in Nepal is a great way to leave behind the stresses of everyday life and immerse yourself in the beauty and power of one of Nepal’s many great rivers. As you tune in to the rhythm of the river, life slows down, your stress disappears, the adrenaline starts pumping and your focus becomes fun, sun, food and sleep. Camping on remote and beautiful riverside beaches, catching glimpses of the local culture as you paddle by, your journey will offer time for reflection as well as the thrill of taming (or not) some of the world’s best seat-of-the-pants, gravity-powered and adrenaline pumping rapids.

The best months for rafting in Nepal are September to early December and March to early June. In the summer season, many of Nepal’s rivers are hard to navigate due to increased water volume from the monsoon runoff and the winter season is not ideal due to short, cold days and nights.
