Rafting Trip Down the San Miguel River in Telluride
Duration
About 3 hours on the water
Itinerary (10 River Miles) Half-Day Trip
- Meet at M&M Mercantile 20 minutes BEFORE the start time to meet up with the guides, keep in mind we have NO cell phone coverage and we leave promptly at the start time.
- Drive about 15 minutes to the river access point
- Use restrooms and change into the gear you rented (wetsuits and splash gear are highly recommended)
- Raft the San Miguel for about 3 hours with a riverside snack (on water times vary due to river flows)
- End the tour and get shuttled back (about 4 hours after you started) to your car at the M&M Mercantile
- Tip the guide if you enjoyed the ride! Cash is king for cellphone coverage for Venmo is spotty.
What We Provide
- Safety orientation
- PFDs (Personal Flotation Devices), a.k.a. life jackets — Sorry, no personal PFDs allowed.
- Transportation to and from the river
- Raft guide

What to Bring
- Sturdy footwear like old tennis shoes — We also rent river shoes.
- Please, no flip flops or sandals
- Day trips do not have storage. Please leave all personal items in a hotel room or vehicle.

Cancellation Policy:
We understand that plans can change unexpectedly, and we strive to be as accommodating as possible. If you need to cancel your reservation, please let us know at least 72 hours before your departure date to receive a full refund.
Unfortunately, if you miss your trip for any reason within the 72-hour window (such as illness, COVID-19, emergencies, emergency room visits, or no-shows), we won’t be able to offer a refund. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, and we genuinely sympathize with any difficulties this may cause. However, our policy helps us manage our adventures effectively and fairly for all guests. Keep in mind once we are within 72- hours you have non-refundable tickets. For added peace of mind, consider our Trip Insurance option.
Weather is part of the adventure! Our trips run rain, snow, sleet, or shine. We look forward to making every journey memorable, no matter the conditions.
Trip Insurance option:
For only 8% of your booking total, your whole group can get trip protection that allows you to cancel any time 12 hours BEFORE your trip launch date and get a full refund in the form of a non-expiring gift card. If canceled within 12 hours of your launch date no refund or gift card will be given.
Multi-day raft trip cancelations
All Multi-day trips have a cancelation window of 14 days (336 hours). Cancel any time 14 before you schedule launch time and get a full refund. If you need to cancel within 14 days there will be no refund.
