Labyrinth Canyon Multi-Day SUP Adventure

Labyrinth Canyon is one of the “most scenic flat water river trips in the country”, and there is no better way to see the buttes, mesas, and sandstone cliffs above the Green River than this multi-day SUP adventure.  Paddle Moab hosts this all-inclusive paddle boarding experience, taking all of the guesswork out of the adventure.  Paddling through this 45-mile canyon provides a unique perspective that few people get to witness. 

After a full day of paddleboarding with just your day-bag, the supportive crew at Paddle Moab will already have dinner cooking and your camping supplies hauled in.  Without all the hassle of carrying gear, cooking, and cleaning, you can just pitch your tent and soak in a stunning sandstone sunset.  Camping under the stars in Moab’s signature dark skies makes for a truly unforgettable experience. 

While previous SUP experience is not required, good physical condition is recommended, as paddling and camping four days in a row can be demanding.  Paddle Moab’s certified SUP instructors will help you improve your paddling technique and teach you how to navigate the river’s gentle currents.   Whether you are looking to improve your SUP skills or just looking for a unique way to immerse yourself in one of the most beautiful parts of the desert for a couple of days, this experience will certainly be an adventure for the books.

Note: 6+ participants are needed for the trip to take place.

You will meet your guides at the Paddle Moab office, then transportation is provided to the Ruby Ranch boat launch, about 1 hour 15 minutes away.

Minimum age 10, ages 10-17 with guardian

Yes, transportation to and from the boat launch sites from our office is included.  You are responsible for your own travel to our office.

Are pets allowed?

No.

What wildlife may we encounter? Desert bighorn sheep, mule deer, osprey, black bears (in the fall), lizards, and rattlesnakes are all possible sightings. 

How big are group sizes?

The Labyrinth Canyon SUP adventure has a minimum group size of 6 and a maximum group size of 12 people.

Are private tours/lessons available?

Yes, private trips are available..

Is storage available for personal items?

Yes, you can store personal items in your day dry-bag, and overnight items in your overnight dry-bag, which will be in the support boat.

Is parking available?

Yes, parking at our office is available.

What is the weather policy?

All trips will take place at their scheduled time as long as the weather permits. Paddle Moab reserves the right to postpone at their discretion due to weather or conditions they deem unsafe. If conditions or weather prevent the trip from taking place, the trip will be rescheduled for future convenient time or the card will be refunded.

Do I need previous experience to do the activity?

No experience is required, but paddle boarding experience and good general fitness is recommended.

What is the maximum group size for the paddle boarding trip?

12 people, but this can be expanded for private groups.

Are there any weight restrictions for participants?

No, our paddle boards are very stable. 

Are all necessary paddling equipment provided, or do I need to bring my own?

Yes, paddle board, paddle, and life jackets are all provided.

What safety measures are in place during the excursion?

Our guides carry a satellite phone, first aid kits, and have an evacuation plan in place in case of an emergency.

Can I bring my camera or other personal belongings on the trip?

Yes, Labyrinth Canyon is very scenic, so cameras are great to bring as long as they stay in the dry bag while paddling!
