Take a wet hike led by an experienced naturalist guide. This is a bucket list experience! Join us on this mesmerizing, beautiful walk under a canopy of bald cypress trees. Witness the thousands of beautifully delicate epiphytes, like ferns, bromeliads and orchids; only to be fully experienced on a wet walk. Big Cypress National Preserve, situated right in the middle of the Everglades, is a forested area home to the Florida panther, black bear, wild boar, the endangered Everglades mink, Florida bobcat, and much more! This tour is the same as Tour #2, except that this is a wet walk instead of a dry walk. Just like Tour #2, there is also a 1-hour boat trip in the 10,000 Islands, lunch in Everglades City, a stop at a historic trading post, a 1-hour air boat trip way out in the real Everglades, a stop at a Native tree island village, and a narrated scenic drive through Big Cypress. Transportation is provided. Or meet us at a meet up location to start the tour.
