Description

Farm-to-Table Dinner & Class III Rafting

On our farm-to-table dinner cruise, you'll get to experience two bounties Northern California has to offer: pristine rivers and local organic cuisine. This one-of-a-kind experience begins with exciting whitewater rapids on the Trinity River and ends with a beautiful farm-to-table-style dinner on the beach.

You may enjoy pacific salmon — one of our favorites to cook over a fire — while you sit back and enjoy a variety of hors d’oeuvres. We can easily accommodate any dietary restrictions you may have — just give us a heads up in advance.
If you're a couple seeking a romantic river experience — or a group looking to have a unique culinary experience on the river — this trip's for you.

  3. Local, organic dinner cooked fresh on-site. Dinner will include appetizers, a main course, grilled/sautéed veggies, salad, and a dutch oven desert.

What to Bring / Wear

  1. River/swimming-appropriate clothing, including a extra layer of polypropylene or wool for warmth on spring days
  2. Sandals that strap onto your feet or tennis shoes with rubber bottoms. No flip flops, please! Flip flops can be dangerous on rafting trips and do not protect your feet.
  3. Sunscreen
  4. Sunglasses, with a strap to secure them
  5. Reusable water bottle. We have a unique no-plastic-on-the-river policy and ask that guests not bring plastic disposable water bottles. If you don’t have a reusable water bottle, we’ll provide one for your use.

FAQs

Can I bring my camera or other personal belongings on the trip?
The river has a way of taking items from us, so if it’s not tied down or secured, you could lose it. General rule: don’t bring anything you’d hate to lose. Don’t wear expensive jewelry, don’t bring your only pair of prescription glasses, don’t bring electronics, and we don’t recommend bringing your phone (it doesn’t work in our area anyways).  If you’d like to bring your phone or camera, we’ll supply you with a drybag.
Is the shuttle back to your car included?
Yes!
Are pets allowed?
All our trips are pet friendly, as long as your doggo is gung ho about it! Our dog has run Class IV rapids frequently, but we recommend no higher than Class III for guests’ pooches.
What is the guide to guest ratio?
Our guide-to-guest ratio is typically 1:6.
What is your weather policy? The only reason a trip would be outright canceled is for wildfires and air quality/safety issues. Rain is normal, and we have all the gear needed to keep people warm and cozy. We have canceled trips due to snow but always check in with guests to see how they’d like to proceed. Some folks are happy rafting in the snow, so it really depends on the guest!
Can we book a private trip?
Any of our trips can be private or joined with another group. Popular private trip options include: birthdays, bachelor/bachelorette parties, and large family adventures.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations must be made at least 2 weeks in advance of your trip's departure date in order to guarantee a partial refund. The 20% deposit (or 20% of the cost if paid in full) is non-refundable. A cancellation within 2 weeks of your trip date may result in a partial refund, depending on if we are able to rebook the seats that we held for you. If we are able to rebook, we happily do not charge. If we are unable to rebook, we unfortunately may have to collect a cancellation fee to cover our loss. If you fail to show up for your trip without contacting us in advance, you will be charged for the full amount. We understand that last minute things come up, and we are happy to reschedule a trip. If you have to reschedule less than 2 weeks before your trip we will have to charge a rescheduling fee. If rescheduling more than 2 weeks in advance, there is no rescheduling fee.
