Lake Tahoe Sunrise Snowshoe Tour
Join us for a morning snowshoe tour of Lake Tahoe as the sun peeks over the snow-capped mountainous landscapes.
Say hello to the mountains and Lake Tahoe in the peaceful bliss of sunrise! Once the sun starts to appear the mountains begin to take on a whole new character. The crowds are still sleeping and the mountains remain quiet. Yet perhaps some of the most breathtaking vistas and transcendent moments are still to be had. Snow hike, stretch, "snow-ga" (yes, it's a thing, and no, you don't have to do it.) with us in the glorious, fresh mountain air as Lake Tahoe begins to take on its colorful morning glow.
New to off-trail snowshoeing? Let Tahoe Outdoor Adventures lead the way and teach you fun snowshoeing techniques and tricks. All tours include instruction. Wear winter boots and powder/ski pants to keep your feet and legs dry while snowshoeing.

Location
Snowshoeing tours take place in the areas around South Lake Tahoe and the surrounding landscapes of the Sierra. All of our tours depart from various locations in the area of South Lake Tahoe. You will meet your guide at the trailhead where you will start and finish your tour. Exact tour locations vary depending on weather, snowpack, and group ability levels. Our tour sites are within 10-20 minutes of anywhere in South Lake Tahoe.
