Types of Bikes

Rad Rover 6 Step-Thru

This style is recommended for most heights.

Rad Rover 6 High-Step

This style is recommended for riders over 6’. 

Rad Rover bikes are designed for the path less traveled. The ebike model that started it all: Hop on our flagship fat tire and you may never want to leave. Now in its sixth version, the RadRover 6 Plus powers through all types of weather and terrain, with the technology and design to make it your best ebike ride yet.

Duration

4 hours | Half-day and full-day rentals are available. 

Half-day rentals are available for four hours, and you will be able to select your preferred time window at checkout, with pickup times available hourly between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM. 

Pick-Up: At checkout, you’ll be able to select your preferred pickup time between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM. 

Delivery: At checkout, you can opt to have your bike delivered between 3:00 and 5:00 the night before your first full rental day. Alternatively, we can deliver the morning of your rental between 9:00am and 12:00pm to the address that you specify.

Standard rentals are due back at the shop by 5:00 pm on your last rental day. For an additional $30, you can opt to extend your rental and return your bike at 9:30am the day after your last rental day. This option is available at check out as the “Sunset / Sunrise add-on”

Conveniently located in Breckenridge, our shop has easy access to the recreation path which can take you all over Summit County. Open 9am to 5pm, our Black Tie experts will take care of getting you set up for a day in the sun! Rentals can be picked up at our Breckenridge shop, or delivered to your accommodations in Breckenridge (see details above).

Damage waivers are highly recommended to cover normal wear and tear of the bike. Please note that damage waivers do NOT cover loss or theft of the bike. Damage waivers are available for $10/day at checkout.

Reservations

We recommend booking your reservation 48 hours in advance.  

Payment Policy

We require a credit card to hold your reservation. Your card will then be charged within 24 hours of your delivery. You can make any adjustments or additions throughout the reservation period and our Reservation Office will adjust your billing accordingly – no need to run your card multiple times! Once you’ve wrapped up your trip, we’ll email you a final receipt to the email on file.

Can I return my equipment early?

You must notify Black Tie ASAP if you wish to return your equipment prior to your pre-arranged return date. Equipment must be returned by 6:00 p.m. the evening prior to your requested refund date in order to be eligible for a refund for the following day. Same day refund requests are not available. This allows our team time to process the equipment so it can be re-rented. We do not offer refunds for unused days within your rental period.

What does the Damage Waiver Cover?

We expect a reasonable amount of wear and tear while using Black Tie equipment – it lets us know you’ve been getting after it! An optional damage waiver is available and covers damage to equipment that requires labor or repair beyond a standard tune. Please note it does NOT cover damage due to NEGLIGENCE, THEFT, or LOSS.

Do I have to pay for delivery?

No, the delivery and outstanding customer service are free!
