We offer multi-day, weekly, or monthly bike rentals. Your Los Angeles bike rental can be picked up seven days a week, any time between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., with LA bike rental periods beginning once you ride away.

Don't want to pick up your bike at the shop? We can offer delivery & pickup anywhere in the metro Los Angeles area starting at $25. We can drop the bike off at your home, at a hotel, or for your ride – and pick it up when you’re done either at the same location or a different location. After reserving your bike rental, email to arrange delivery.
Ages & Requirments
Our Electric Bikes are only available for guests 4’9″ (1.45 meters) and taller.
Small Children and Infants: There are two options available. We have a trailer that will accommodate two small children–the maximum load for the trailer is 100 pounds. This is pulled behind an adult’s bike. The other option for infants is a child seat. This attaches directly to a black mount on an adult’s bike and can accommodate a child up to 50 pounds.
Young Children 5 – 8: Younger children who are familiar with biking but may need a boost could be accommodated by our Tag-Along. This is a one-wheel attachment with handlebars that attaches to the rear of an adult bike. With this option, a child can pedal independently of the adult in front–it’s not like a traditional tandem bike.
Children 8 – 12: We have a multi-speed bike with hand brakes that can accommodate small children who are experienced bikers. This has a total of seven gears and is very easy to operate. This bike is 24″ and is for children approximately 51-62″ tall.
Please note that we have a limited quantity of child accessories and they are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. After reserving online, please respond to your confirmation email to add them to your order.

What to Bring / Wear
We recommend dressing in layers. LA mornings are often much cooler, but the marine layer burns off by early afternoon. If it's cold enough to wear a layer in the morning, you likely won't need it later in the day, so bring a small backpack to keep your extra belongings. The LA sun can be quite strong, even on cooler days. Make sure to stay hydrated and carry extra sunscreen!

Yes, when you're checking out, use the Road Bike option. The road bikes are actually gravel bikes.

What's included with daily insurance?
Coverage within a 10-mile radius of Bikes and Hikes LA retail store for bike repair service or bike rental replacement. Coverage service hours from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm only. Bicycle theft is not covered under insurance; the lost or stolen bike fee is the full retail cost of a new bike. Without the insurance, any assistance or fixes needed for the bikes cost $75.
Cancellation Policy
You can cancel or make changes no later than 24 hours in advance of your booking, for a full refund or to reschedule your rental!
