PREMIUM

The Premium Ski Package features this years’ latest skis and snowboards and is by far our most popular rental package. Designed for skiers and riders of all abilities, this package offers a wide variety of skis from the best brands and is customized for each renter. This package includes the latest in women’s and junior options.

PERFORMANCE

The Performance Ski Package is a great option for value-focused all-mountain skiers and riders. This rental package is also designed for skiers and riders of all ability levels, but without the variety of equipment available in the Premium Package.

JUNIOR

The Junior Ski Packages feature great performing equipment for the 12 and under skiers and riders in your group. These rental packages are also available with Premium and Performance options.

SKIS & BOARDS ONLY Already have your own boots? You can rent just skis or snowboards by themselves, without having to purchase the whole package. At checkout, just uncheck "boots" and you'll see your rate discounted.

2-Day Minimum.

Pro Tip: Schedule delivery the day before you hit the slopes (2 PM or later) so you can head straight to the lift the next morning.

The rental period will begin on the delivery date when the equipment is delivered before 2:00PM. Equipment delivered after 2:00PM will have a rental period beginning the following day. Equipment not returned by 10:00AM the morning after the due date will result in an extra late charge per day.

Adult Premium Boot Upgrade

Helmets

Helmets have become a permanent feature on the slopes at all modern ski resorts. Our helmets are designed to provide both warmth and comfort. We recommend that everyone wears a helmet for safety.

Damage Waiver

For a small daily fee you can cover your equipment against all incidental damages incurred during normal use. Unfortunately, the damage waiver does not cover theft or negligent use of your equipment, like skiing onto the sidewalk or down the street.

WHEN DOES THE RENTAL PERIOD BEGIN AND END?

The rental period will begin on the delivery date when the equipment is delivered before 2:00PM. Equipment delivered after 2:00PM will have a rental period beginning the following day. Equipment not returned by 10:00AM the morning after the due date will result in an extra late charge per day.

DO YOU HAVE A DAMAGE WAIVER?

An optional Damage Waiver is available and covers damage to equipment caused by normal wear and tear incurred while skiing. It does NOT cover damage due to NEGLIGENCE, THEFT, or LOSS.

HOW DOES THE DELIVERY PROCESS WORK?

Don’t ever wait in line at the ski shop again! Our hassle-free delivery service will save you time, which means you’ll have more time on the slopes to enjoy with family and friends. We open earlier and stay open later than all others to ensure the best delivery time for our guests and to provide you with slope side assistance when needed. Fittings are generally done the night before your first day of skiing, this way you can wake up stress free and have everything you need to hit the slopes for first tracks. Our certified ski rental technicians will select and deliver your ski or snowboard equipment to your lodging property at your scheduled delivery time. Our ski technicians will custom fit you with the latest ski and board equipment based on your rental package, ability level, and the current snow conditions. Our delivery vans come fully stocked with lots of options and sizes so we can be sure all of your equipment fits properly. Returns are just as convenient and easy as delivery. When you are finished with your rentals, we come back to your lodging and retrieve the equipment with no need to intrude on your dining or travel plans.

CAN I PICK UP MY ASPEN SKI RENTAL GEAR INSTEAD?

If you prefer to come to us, we offer complete rental shops in select locations. For these locations, you can choose a storefront fitting option when making your reservation. The following locations offer both ski rental delivery and storefront locations: Banff, Boone, Big Sky, Jackson Hole, Mammoth, North Tahoe, Steamboat, Sun Valley, Telluride, Park City, Vail, and Whistler.

HOW DOES SLOPE SIDE ASSISTANCE WORK?

Our technicians are only a phone call away if you ever need assistance with your equipment. Our ski technicians can meet you at the base area or at your place of lodging to make any necessary adjustments or replacements and get you back on the slopes quickly.

WHAT ARE YOUR DELIVERY HOURS?

For your added convenience our Delivery Service opens early (7:30am) and closes late (9:00pm). We understand that traveling in the mountains can be difficult and unpredictable. If you’re experiencing delays or need to make special arrangements, please call our local office directly and we will do our best to accommodate you.

HOW DO YOU SELECT MY EQUIPMENT?

Our state-of-the-art reservation system and our professionally trained rental techs use the information you provide to select the best possible equipment to suit your needs. If by chance the boot or ski is not suitable, we carry a full back stock in our vans that are parked right outside.

DO YOU TUNE YOUR EQUIPMENT?

All Black Tie Ski Rentals locations utilize the latest in tuning technologies to maintain our equipment. We are committed to tuning each piece of equipment as it returns to suit the prevailing conditions.

PAYMENT POLICY

Your credit card will be charged within 24 hours of ski delivery. Any adjustments or additions can be made throughout the reservation period and will be adjusted by the Reservations Office. A receipt of all expenses can be emailed at the guest’s request to the email on file. If no email is provided, the Reservations Office cannot provide a receipt.

DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR DELIVERY?

No–the delivery, custom fitting, pick up and outstanding customer service are free!

WHAT IF I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MY EQUIPMENT?

In the rare event that something happens with your equipment we are just a phone call away. Our rental techs can meet you in no time back at your accommodation with a replacement and will get you back on the slopes in a flash.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I HAVE TO RE-SCHEDULE MY FITTING?

In the event that you cannot make your scheduled delivery time, simply call our reservation office and we will work with you to re-schedule your reservation. We can re-schedule your delivery for later that day or for first thing the next morning to ensure that you will be on the slopes for fresh tracks. Living in the mountains, we are very accustomed to delays in flights or other circumstances.

DOES BLACK TIE SKI RENTAL ASPEN RENT HELMETS?

Yes, we rent Giro and Smith helmets for all ages and sizes. They are safe, warm, and stylish, and you can request them when making your reservation.

WHAT IF I HAVE MY OWN BOOTS?

If you have your own boots, you will receive a discount on the cost of your package. Please specify when making your reservation that you have your own boots and select a “ski only” package.

ARE YOU LOCALLY OWNED AND OPERATED?

Yes, and we make sure each and every guest receives the highest levels of service and personal attention. Chances are the owner is the one fitting your boots!

WILL I GET A REFUND IF I WANT TO TAKE A DAY OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF MY TRIP?

No, renting skis is like renting a car: if you have your equipment for 5 days and you only use it for 4, you still need to pay for the entire rental period.

Cancellation Policy

Reservations cancelled 48 hours or more prior to scheduled delivery will not be charged. If cancelled within 48 hours, the guest will be subject to a charge of one full day rental per person plus applicable taxes on the reservation. Cancellation or delays due to weather or other reasons outside the guest’s control such as airline delays or cancellations will also be rescheduled or cancelled without charge.
